Potentialities of José Martí′s work to contribute to the education of national identity

This article aims to assess the potential of José Martí ′s work to contribute to the education of national identity. Methods of a qualitative nature are applied in a balanced way. In the aspects that will be addressed, their objectivity, concatenation and interrelation will be taken into account. This result has the proven potential to contribute to sustainably transform the evaluations made of the work of José Martí, since the legacy contained in the multifaceted work of the Apostle constitutes, due to its universality and transcendence, one of the essential components and foundations of the ideology of the Cuban Revolution, which is marxist-leninist, martian and fidelist.
