This research explains the design of the Production for Well-Being (PpB) program, highlighting the target population, the agricultural products subject to support and the rules of operation. The objective was to analyze the design of the PpB to identify its limitations and thus propose alternatives to enhance its potential. For this purpose, we used the exploratory method of official documents. The results show that the program's rules of operation include economic support for corn and bean producers, among others; the program is very complex in terms of accessing information and registering, and lacks a training component and technical and administrative advice. In conclusion, it is suggested to incorporate components: inclusion, simplification and incorporation of social service providers. To enhance the potential of the PpB for the benefit of agricultural producers in the state of Chiapas.
