The purpose of the research was to propose gamification as a reinforcement strategy in the learning of the strengthening of rational numbers in ninth grades of the Luis Cordero Educational Unit, through intervention activities that seek to promote the development of the process of strengthening information regarding Mathematics in students. The purpose of implementing a playful strategy is to encourage students to assimilate and appropriate the theoretical and practical content that enables the effective progress of their academic training. The investigative analysis was elaborated from the observation-participant with a mixed-type perspective based on information collection instruments such as documentary review guides, both of the planning and the recording of the notes of the tutor teacher, surveys were also used, pretest, observation guide of the classes carried out by the researchers and posttest to the two study clusters called parallels A and B, both in ninth grade. The results obtained indicate a great improvement in the experimental group as a counterpoint to the control group, having gamification as the only differentiating variable, and concluding that it facilitates adaptation to reinforce mathematical content.
