Didactic strategy to contribute to the academic performance in mathematics of the First of the Unified General Baccalaureate

This scientific article proposes the use of didactic resources represented through the game as an alternative for the development of classes. Since, the low level of academic performance has been identified through the diagnostic evaluation developed by the students in which it is determined that they do not master the required learning. Due to this, the article has the purpose of proposing a didactic strategy to contribute to the academic performance in mathematics of the students of First BGU in the Luis Cordero Educational Unit. For the development of the research, the bibliographic analysis and the methodological analysis on which the research is based is carried out is a socio-critical paradigm with a qualitative and quantitative approach and with a type of quasi-experimental research, 31 students who belong to the experimental group and 33 students from the control group. Also, the implementation of the didactic strategy, in which it was identified that they allowed to improve the learning process of the students. Finally, it is concluded that the proposed strategy contributed positively to the teaching-learning process in mathematics, this reflected in the change that occurred in the academic performance of the students of the research group.
