This article is based on the previous diagnosis, and later the obtaining of results obtained through the application of a didactic proposal based on the use of GeoGebra for the teaching-learning of mathematics in the Educational Unit "Bell Academy" of the city of Ecuador basin. The objective of the applied didactic proposal is to improve the learning results of third-year high school students. For this purpose, in the first stage of the investigation, a theoretical review was carried out, later the proposal was designed and applied and finally it was evaluated to verify the improvement of the academic performance of the students. This is a field investigation, a mixed approach methodology was used, using evaluations and surveys for data collection and obtaining results. In this sense, it is concluded that the use of didactic tools other than those traditionally used help to improve the teaching-learning process and the consolidation of knowledge by students.
