Inclusion and use of the Chat GPT tool in distance education courses

The present work, the result of the research and experiences of the authors in relation to the functioning of undergraduate and graduate courses in the distance modality of the Open University of Brazil, specifically the use of different digital didactic-pedagogical tools for the enrichment of the teaching-learning process in contemporaneity, especially with the introduction and use of the Artificial Intelligence tool in these courses, Chat GPT as a way of enriching the technological and didactic arsenal that EAD uses in its pedagogical mediation. The article proposes to use this powerful Artificial Intelligence tool since the beginning of UAB courses, both by teachers and students in the search for new knowledge along with other resources already used within UAB.
