The objective of this research is to design a presentation for the understanding of gravitational potential energy, with second year students of Physics - Mathematics at UNAN-Managua/CUR-Estelí during the first semester 2023. A study was developed where the methodology used is of qualitative approach, therefore, descriptive and transversal. Twelve people were tested; nine second year students of Physics-Mathematics and three Physics-Mathematics teachers to apply instruments such as online interviews in a non-probabilistic sampling. An interview with the teacher to identify the educational methods used in the teaching-learning process and an interview with the students to analyze their difficulties and thus develop a demonstration to meet their needs. The results obtained were analyzed by means of tables. The teachers highlight certain tools used in the physics component, but present certain difficulties when making use of them, due to the time set for each block. Experimental demonstrations are of great support to the educational process in general.
