The research conducted at the Francisco Javier Clavijero Telesecondary School using an Action Research methodology aimed to disseminate the results of the diagnostic study. Initially, the following instruments were applied: a learning styles test, which found a visual predominance; a study conditions questionnaire, with attention span as the outcome; a field diary, which identified that actions and values for environmental care are not consistently promoted at the institution, and that numerous environmental problems arise both at the school and in the community to which it belongs; and a structured interview with the teacher in charge, which confirmed the findings in the field diary. Based on the results obtained, a validated instrument was applied to measure Environmental Awareness, divided into four categories: affective, cognitive, conative, and active. The results show that the categories with the greatest need are cognitive and active, so it is suggested that the Service-Learning methodology be used to develop these categories and raise environmental awareness.
