Abstract

The participatory climate represents an aspect in the life of the institutions that is important to document in order to propose alternatives aimed at school autonomy. In addition to the teaching and learning processes, teachers require communication, dialogue, consensus and teamwork to support the social and educational role of schools. The teaching practice constitutes the main task of teachers, since it represents providing opportunities for cognitive, psychomotor, but above all emotional development, through socialization spaces with a healthy and harmonious environment within the school community. The research was carried out from the interpretive approach, taking into account the importance of understanding the educational processes of those who live in the daily life of schools. This study provides elements of analysis and reflection on the implications of the school environment, arising from the expressions of primary school teachers in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, who through narratives, reported their experiences around the characteristics of the teaching teams, dialogue as a tool to promote consensus, personal relationships and actions to promote favorable work environments in the integration of teaching groups.
