Abstract

This program was designed for the purpose of developing skills to form emotionally competent parents, strengthening the mental health of family members, to build intelligent interactions that allow them to confront the current social phenomena magnified in the media such as cinema, television and the internet. For the execution of the program, it was structured in 5 modules with sessions and experiential activities, oriented to reflection for change, through self-regulation, modeling, collaborative learning, mediation. The impact was achieved on 218 parents out of 900 who make up the school’s guardian population. Results reflected in the behavior and academic performance of students. Currently work is being done to systematize the data for programme adjustments and restructuring.
