The use of ICT for theater teaching at the University of Matanzas

Abstract

This article is the systematized result of the investigation; and the author's experience, in the area of ​​artistic education and specifically theater education from the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), as a means of teaching and learning in the improvement of the different programs of subject of the formation of the Degree in Artistic Education of the University of Matanzas. The objective is to expose the implications of the use of ICT in the field of Higher Education based on its advantages and disadvantages for both teachers and students. The website proposal for the study of Matanzas theater is also presented based on its foundations and practical benefits for the training of students of the Bachelor of Art Education, as a means of teaching and learning the subject History and Appreciation of Cuban Art. . Essentially theoretical methods of knowledge are used in this article, which has allowed us to conceive the proposal that is presented. The result has a practical utility, as it establishes a theoretical platform for training work in the artistic field.
