Abstract

The link between the university and local development strategies and the development of socio-cultural projects enhances the training of a professional prepared to design and execute projects that solve community problems, which requires them to adjust to the characteristics of a globalized citizen, capable of exercising his profession at any latitude, with command of several languages ​​and an intercultural capacity, which allows him to accept diversity and be accepted, without losing his identity values. This article deals with the management of the sociocultural project, from the internationalization process at home, as a catalyst for the extension component with a globalized vision, in accordance with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda. The objective is to base the relationship established between the management of the sociocultural project and internationalization at home in contemporary Higher Education, in the multicultural training of professionals, from the insertion in different contexts. Based on a theoretical analysis and documentary review, goals and needs, action contexts and indicators of interest for this research were determined.
