Active participatory methodologies for transversal competencies in chilean university students

This graduate seminar is oriented to the design of a digital dossier that promotes teaching practices for the development of transversal competencies in the course of Finance I, in the career of engineering in business administration at the Universidad Arturo Prat in the city of Santiago de Chile. It is based on the application of active-participative strategies of visual representation, problematization and effective communication. All of them aim at the development of meaningful and constructivist learning of students in the field of teamwork, leadership, communication and use of ICTs. The specific objectives addressed in this work are oriented to the identification of the learning preferences of the students of the curricular activity, the learning proposal of a digital dossier with active-participative methodologies for the development of generic competences and the implementation of the same in finance. It was positively evaluated by teachers and students, which makes its implementation possible.
