Abstract

In the last two decades there has been a growing interest in understanding the negative effects of technology in their study. The objective of this study was to identify techno-stress and the perspective of the use of ICT used in education, focused on Administration students of a Public University. The research instrument is an adaptation of the "Technological stress survey", was answered in a four-point Likert-type format, 1 (totally disagree), 2 (disagree), 3 (agree) and 4 (complete agreement). The measures are 1) Academic stress, 2) Effects of the use of ICT and 3) ICT in education, having a reliability index (α= .861). The main findings show that the students did not feel stressed with the use of ICT, nor do they consider that there were negative effects and there is a refusal to accept or recognize addiction to ICT. The results indicate that the use of ICT in education during this period was not the most efficient.
