Participatory active strategies with the use of ICT. Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Career, University of Tarapacá

This article exposes the implementation and results of a Teaching Innovation Project based on active-participatory teaching and learning strategies through the use of ICT in the virtual classroom of the Respiratory System Disorders subject of the Kinesiology Career of the University of Tarapacá, according to the learning styles of their students. The approach is of a qualitative nature, with an action research design, contemplating a cycle that implies a diagnosis, an intervention and an evaluation with perspectives of continuous improvement. It starts by diagnosing the learning styles of the students from the application of the Kolb Test, which yields heterogeneous results without a clear predominance of any particular style and active – participatory teaching and learning strategies are planned that allow and support the incorporation ICT to respond to the learning styles evidenced by students. From this, a training instance is carried out for 20 teachers of the career through a virtual workshop, in order to guide them in the use of these active – participatory strategies incorporating ICT. The actions implemented have a high level of approval by teachers.
