Multidisciplinary preparation for educators for family guidance in early childhood

The multidisciplinary preparation of teachers for family guidance in early childhood is a commitment of educational policy in Cuba. The objective of this article is to contribute to systematize the necessary positioning to promote the multidisciplinary preparation of educators for family orientation in early childhood. On the basis of a recognized antecedent of psychological treatment to educational guidance, a review of the sources and authors recognized for their scientific production on the subject is applied. The treatment was contrasted to the multidisciplinary methodological preparation and the educational orientation with particular reference to this type of orientation carried out from the school and directed to the family. The theoretical analysis carried out allowed to form a theoretical position on the initial and continuous training of educators with a multidisciplinary character and on educational orientation and to establish its dimensions and indicators, determination of usefulness for the investigative processes on the subject in early childhood.
