Abstract

Communication from education is an important agent of social change and promoter of development, conditioning, through it, social well-being. The quality of interaction and joint activity between teachers and students during the teaching-learning process is essential. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to make a theoretical and methodological approach to the improvement of educational communication between teachers and students in the teaching-learning process. Scientific methods at the theoretical level are used to analyze the references that support the topic, its processing and reaching conclusions. The main results are related to the theoretical review of authors who address the topic under study and the determination of points of agreement on the qualities that a competent teacher should possess regarding the communication he establishes with his students in the classroom context. Likewise, the need to deepen the study of the subject in the current Cuban university is recognized.
