This paper shows the reality of migrants in transit through the state of Chiapas, focusing on public education policy. Since 2018, it has been sought to add a paragraph to Article 39 in section XVII of the Law of Rights of the State of Chiapas, since not adding this paragraph results in an increase in trafficking and exploitation of minors, child crime, white slavery, street vending, informal work, among others; a situation that has been increased by asylum applications from 2014 to date. The State Development Plan 2019 - 2024, has not established in any of its axes, cross-cutting approaches or cross-cutting policies, the issue of education for migrants, an issue that was addressed by the State Development Plans of previous six-year terms. Finally, the result of the educational policy focused on migrant children and adolescents is not a complete policy, it is empty without budgetary support, without the vision of being able to meet the requests to reduce the rates of marginalization of this population and in this way they can be incorporated into the state's educational system.
