The objective of this project was to know the perception of the tutoring function by the administration students of the Economic-Administrative Faculty. A cross-sectional, descriptive, non-experimental study with a qualitative approach was conducted. 47 students participated in this study out of 60 enrolled in the period May-August 2022, in the educational program Administration Human Capital Area of the 2nd four-month period. The research instrument is self-developed, consists of 6 open questions, and focused on the performance, accompaniment and availability of the tutor to meet their needs. It is concluded that the students feel the tutor's empathy for the follow-up of the situations that arise in their professional training, however, they also mention that they should be better prepared with topics about diversity and gender equality. Finally, it is necessary to design actions for the detection and timely attention of students at risk, which compromises the completion of their academic training.
